Singapore, 17 July 2024 – Marrying the expertise of its dim sum chefs and tea masters, Si Chuan Dou Hua Restaurant is unveiling a Mid-Autumn gift box and dine-in experience that showcase the myriad flavours of mooncakes when paired with premium Chinese tea. Available for purchase from 22 July to 17 September 2024, the seasonal gift box presents a set of four mooncakes, a cylinder of Premium Grade Anxi Tie Guan Yin tea, and a travel-sized Chinese Gong Fu tea set in a vermilion drawer box adorned with auspicious dragon and floral motifs.
 From 1 to 30 September 2024, guests can also enjoy the Mid-Autumn Imperial High Tea (中秋宫廷下午茶), pairing nine exquisite handcrafted dim sum items and mooncakes with premium Chinese tea and a craft cocktail.

Guests can choose from two Mid-Autumn packaging options – the vermilion gift box comes complete with premium
Tie Guan Yin tea and a Chinese Gong Fu tea set, while the shoulder tote features the signature print of registered charity Extra•Ordinary People.

To introduce guests to the art of pairing mooncakes with Chinese tea, the restaurant’s Tea Masters have chosen to incorporate Premium Grade Anxi Tie Guan Yin – a lightly fermented oolong tea harvested from Fujian province – in the gift set.
With its rich and honeyed aroma and a silky, smoky flavour, Tie Guan Yin tea gently complements the subtle sweetness of lotus paste mooncakes, accentuating its natural flavours to create a distinct sensory experience. The accompanying Chinese Gong Fu tea set is the perfect tool to get guests started on the ancient tea ritual. Comprising a master mug, strainer and two dainty teacups, the compact tea set is perfect for use in the office or on travels. Responding to the popular demand for its shoulder tote bearing the signature print of registered charity Extra•Ordinary People released last year, the restaurant is also making available a limited batch of the gift bags for sale this year. For both packaging options, guests can choose from a variety of healthy low-sugar mooncake flavours, including the floral Lychee Rose Lotus Seed Paste, Oolong Tea Lotus Seed Paste with Pumpkin Seeds, or the classic White Lotus Seed Paste with Single or Double Yolks.
